Spotlight: BOOTS

Hi Everyone!!!! I hope you like the new changes :) I still have more changes underway but I couldn't hold off any longer....I had to post something for you!!!




There are a few things that I can think of that I love about Fall/Winter. One of those things are definitely boots. Anybody can pull of boots because there are so many different styles. I'll break them down for you...
Ankle- Ankle boots have been all the rage for a while now and with good reason. They are super versatile. Ankle boots are a great substitution for pumps when its really cold and you want your feet covered up. Basically, anything pretty much goes for booties. You can rock them with jeans (skinny, flare, or boot cut), skirts (any length),or leggings. Just make sure if you are wearing them with a skirt or legging, you don't have socks showing LOL.

Mid Calf- Mid Calf boots pair well with dresses and skirts that are slightly longer. For example, below the knee. With mid calf boots you want a little space between the dress and the boot so that it doesn't shorten your legs. They also work well jeans tucked in or tights and a sweater dress.

Knee- Knee boots are classic. I love knee boots. This style can compliment almost any outfit. They look good with jeans tucked in, a skirt or dress, or whatever. These can even be worn with long skirts if you like the bottom and want the lift from a boot with a heel. I would suggest that if you wear them with a long skirt make sure that the top of the shoe isn't so wide that it pokes out from the dress.

Thigh- Thigh boots are SEXY SEXY! They look amazing with sweater dresses, jeggings or mini skirts. And just because they are thigh boots, doesn't mean that they have to have a 6 inch heels on them to look good. They are cute flat, or with heels on them. Just make sure the dress or skirt doesn't cover the top the boots or that would defeat the purpose of wearing them.

Uggs- I know, I know, Uggs shouldn't be in its own category but I couldn't resist! I am a fan of Uggs simply because they are so comfy and warm for a laid back day. Throw on a v-neck, hoodie, leggings, and Uggs, and you'll be good to go.
