"Jeanius!"

Okay, I totally get that its cold out and it’s only sensible for jeans to be a wardrobe staple during this time of the year. BUT, with the right pair, right fit, right wash your jeans can be oh so hot! Jeans are timeless and can be flattering for anyone. So, my mission for the day is to give you all the tips and tricks I know to find the perfect pair. And, to top it all off, I am going to tell you where to find them!
First, when shopping for denim, make sure you have enough time to actually try them on before you purchase them. Also, choose a fitting room with several mirrors so that you can see different angles of your butt.
Things to look for:
· Too-small waist ( avoid the unflattering muffin top)
· Length, you don’t want them too long or too short. With heels, the bottom of your jeans should just skim your toes. With flats, they should just barely graze the ground (unless they are skinny).
· It is ideal for the waist band to be a tad-bit higher in the back that way if you don’t like wearing belts you won’t show everyone your “ASSets” when you sit down.
· Look for jeans with a little stretch simply for comfort.
· Make sure you are wearing the right underwear!!!
· No sagging! Stay away from denim that sags in the bottom or the knees.
Washes
Washes can be tricky. My belief is if you have the right fit and size, the wash is simply your based on your personal preference.
Fits
· Flare- Fitted through the thigh, wide opening starting at the knee to the bottom of the jean.
· Bootcut- Fitted through the thigh and a slightly wide from the knee to the bottom of the jean. Bootcut is great for ankle boots, and western-style boots, heels, flats, and clogs. This is considered a very versatile jean and should definitely be in everyone’s closet.
· Straight leg- Fitted through the thigh and straight/relaxed from the knee to the bottom of the jean. The most versatile cut available. A well-cut straight leg jean looks good with practically any shoe.
· Skinny- Slim and very fitted through the entire length of the denim. These are awesome for heels, cute flats, and boots that you tuck jeans into.
· Wide-leg- wide from the waist to the bottom
Where to buy:
